Thanks to some great deals in the last month, I signed both kids up for the August Citrus Lane box. The first one arrived last week. As usual, I was pretty pleased with what was in the box and feel like it was a great value.

Petit Collage Woodland Friends Growth Chart. This growth chart is so cute and so very perfect for Anders’ nursery. It was designed exclusively for Citrus Lane. You can get different, but equally cute, growth charts from Petit Collage, like this Tree Friends one (Amazon, $18.22). This particular chart comes with a sheet of leaf stickers that you can write the date on and stick on the chart as you measure your little one.
ABC 123 Blocks from Melissa and Doug (Amazon, $20.54). These are very nice blocks, and they come with a storage pouch with a velco closure. Alexis already had a set of Melissa and Doug ABC 123 blocks, but it was a smaller number of blocks that came in a little wooden wagon. With this new set, she’ll be able to create bigger towers and spell more words. I don’t think it’s possible to have too many letters and numbers.
Cool It Buddy instant cold packs from Me4Kidz (Diapers.com, $3.73). The box describes these as “targeted relief for bumps and bruises on the go.” Toddlerhood certain comes with a lot of bumps and bruises. We haven’t needed to try these yet, but I’m glad to have them on hand for when we do. Alexis loves the Me4Kidz bandaids she got in another Citrus Lane box, so seeing the familiar penguin might make her more amenable to trying an ice pack, too.
Yum-a-roo’s from Nurtureme (Amazon, 12 pack for $30.46; $2.53 for 1). Freeze-dried fruit and veggies, with no added sugar. Freeze dried broccoli is actually tastier than it sounds. This one is Alexis approved.
Language Video Digital Download from Little Pim ($11.99). We haven’t actually tried this one out yet, but I suspect it will be hit, given how much she loves sign language and Signing Time.
The box also included coupon codes for some of the brands included, and a card to save 25% off a membership at Care.com (which now owns Citrus Lane). Everything in the box added up to $57.01.
