Alexis attended her first birthday party today, for a little girl she met on a play date. She loved playing with the toys and the other babies at the party, feeding herself ice cream with a spoon, and hanging out in the pool.
Since she loves her own doll so much, I thought we’d bring a special one for this little girl, too.
I love how this doll turned out! I embroidered her face, and attached her collar with a blanket stitch, which I think worked just beautifully. Her stripey skirt is removable. I’ve never really been much of a doll person, but I am really enjoying making them. I’m so glad I have little girls to make them for.
