You might have noticed the little doll on the dresser in my post about Alexis’ nursery. I made her as a Christmas present for Alexis, using the Black Apple pattern via Martha Stewart. This was my first time using the pattern, and it was incredibly easy. I actually made two dolls in one evening, while Alexis was sleeping. One for my little girl, and one for my niece.
I would say this doll is baby approved! The long, skinny arms and legs are just perfect for little hands to grab and little mouths to chew. (Also, check out those two teeth! She got them, literally, for Christmas. I never expected my baby to get teeth so early, but they sure are cute.)
